I am autodidact. Apparently out of the blue, in 2002 I began to paint. When in 2005 I changed city life in Amsterdam to country living in Burgundy, I no longer did limit myself to painting. I began to create objects from natural waste and worthless things lying around my home environment.

In 2007 some of my work became explicitly autobiographical and I also began to use fragments of text.

In 2008 I started to exhibit.

Around 2009/2010 I began to make site-specific work.
